The Vampire's try to connect to their creative side because this brings life into the world, since they have become Vampire's and are used to taking  life it is more difficult for them to use their creativity as Vampire. They are all trying to create something that inspires them toward this goal, Karl is trying to write a song, Essie is busy creating new clothes, Merrill composing and essay, but Drew isn't searching for inspiration. But then Merrill gives him a chest with oil paint and brushes, because she has seen his sketches and wants to appeal to his artistic side. He finally gives in and starts painting this is when the problems begin. The first object he paints is Marty's plant and at the completion of the painting unnoticed by anyone the plant has withered and died. Then the next problem arises Sherry wants him to paint her portrait, what will happen now?
